Wise School Senior Rabbi Yoshi Zweiback tells the audience that the patience and perseverance of teachers is their superpower. He recounts the story of Rabbi Preida, who repeated one lesson 400 times for a student struggling to learn and was rewarded by God for his undivided dedication. “The educators that we honor today do that in your classroom,” Rabbi Zweiback says. “Day by day, week by week, year by year, you hang in there with your students and you’re there for them. And that’s why we honor you today.”
