2023 Jewish Educator Award recipient Anna August, a Judaic and general studies art teacher at Sinai Akiba Academy, shares her guiding philosophy that all students hold the inherent power to create. She empowers students to discover their inner voice and instills in them that uniqueness is their greatest asset. “This recognition is a celebration, not just of my efforts,” she says, “but of every student’s very creativity, of every mentor’s inspiration and the limitless possibilities that art reveals within us.”
