Milken Community High School | Los Angeles, California Lowell Milken, founder of the Jewish Educator Awards, tells students that teachers and principals play the most important role in our society—preparing all of them for bright, successful futures. “[Educators] seek to ensure that each of you has an understanding of our people’s history, our destiny, and our obligation to repair the world,” he says. Mr. Milken also has a secret to share: One MCS teacher is about to receive a Jewish Educator Award, an honor that celebrates outstanding educators in Los Angeles Jewish day schools.
