Los Angeles, CA Eric Hartung (JEA ’19) receives his Jewish Educator Award from Richard Sandler, executive vice president of the Milken Family Foundation. A science teacher at Rabbi Jacob Pressman Academy of Temple Beth Am, Mr. Hartung manages Pressman’s science fair and serves on the executive board of the Los Angeles County Science and Engineering Fair (LACSEF). Over the past 12 years, 48 of Mr. Hartung’s students have received awards at LACSEF and eight at the state level, with one project winning best in state.
