Holding their tzedakah-box awards for their winning essays in the Jewish Educator Awards 4th Annual Student Essay Contest, these students represent the success of Jewish day school education and the promise of tomorrow’s Jewish leaders. The tzedakah theme goes hand-in-hand with a Milken Family Foundation gift of $1,800 to each recipient’s school plus a $500 contribution to a charity selected by each winner.
